• Note: PySide is included in IDA since version 6.6 so these downloads are not necessary for that and future versions. IDA 6.9 and above ship with PyQt instead of PySide; see this post for more info. Show PYside resources.
• Edx-dl is a simple tool to download videos and lecture materials from Open edX-based sites. It requires a Python interpreter (= 2.7) and very few other dependencies. It is platform independent, and should work fine under Unix (Linux, BSDs etc.), Windows or Mac OS X.
• Download ChemCAD for free. ChemCAD is a chemical process simulation program that includes libraries of chemical components, thermodynamic methods and unit operations to allow steady-state simulation of continuous chemical processes from lab scale to full scale.

Using the heating stage

The EDX detector has to be fully retracted if a heating sample stage is used. The normal position of the EDX detector is fully retracted.

Connection to the Zeiss Software

Please note that you need to open the serial port of the Zeiss RemCon32 tool on port 'COM2' in order to enable the INCA software by Oxford Instrument to communicate with the Zeiss Microscope. First choose the correct serial port (1) and then open the port (2).
